Blake Lively was seen filming an episode of “Gossip Girl” in New York’s Upper East Side last Monday. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a celebrity (or anyone for that matter) wear colored jeans, but I’m considering this counts even though Blake is wearing hers as a costume.

I love how they styled Blake Lively’s purple jeans with grey clothes and accessories. I didn’t realize that those colors made such a great combination! Though I do wish that they stuck to using maybe just one or two shades of grey for her outfit. I see light grey, greenish grey, brownish grey, slate gray and heather grey – all that with the purple jeans and the blue handbag is just a little too much to take all at once.

Blake Lively’s jeans alone are amazing to look at though. They’re a bold purple color but still in a shade that is totally wearable:
