These Lorissa pumps are by no means new by the way. In fact, our sister site Your Next Shoes featured these stunning and sexy pumps what feels like ages ago! But it’s only recently that Sam Edelman created this light blue denim version. They must’ve seen how well their Lorissa pump has been selling and they decided to recreate it in denim so that it’ll continue to sell (like hotcakes!) throughout the spring and summer.

And you know what? I think their strategy is working. Because despite having been released for the 2010 fall and winter season more than 8 months ago, the Lorissa pump is STILL one of the top-selling women’s pumps on Amazon!

Just goes to show that studs and spikes just might be a trend that’s here to stay. Either that or there are more impractical shoe collectors/addicts out there than women would voluntarily admit.

Okay, so the Lorissa pump is obviously not an everyday go-to shoe like sensible flats or basic black pumps, but it does have the ability to instantly add a steely spice to any outfit! The Sam Edelman Lorissa Pump has a staggering 4-inch high stiletto and a fully spike and crystal stud-encrusted back heel. Aside from this denim color it also comes in black and nude, and for the truly adventurous, in white snakeskin.
