Yes, Even Anna Wintour Wears Jeans

Fashion websites were abuzz when this picture of Anna Wintour at the 2011 Sony Ericsson Open held in Key Biscayne, Florida surfaced. It wasn’t because of the fact that Anna Wintour was in Florida (although maybe it could’ve been partly that), but it was because in this picture, Anna is wearing a pair of jeans.

I nearly fell out of my seat myself when I saw this picture. This is the first time I’ve seen the typically designer-clad US Vogue editrix wearing something as “lowly” as a pair of jeans! That’s why this seemingly simple picture is so shocking to many people and set the fashion rumor mills spinning. Of course, nothing’s wrong with Anna Wintour wearing denim but it is a sight that’s even rarer than that elusive pair of perfect-fitting jeans.

Has anyone else seen Anna Wintour in jeans or in anything made of denim for that matter?
