Marrying different styles in one garment is a common thing in fashion. Nic + Zoe tries to do that in this denim jacket by combining a biker style, a double-breasted style a feminine style and here’s the end result:

It’s new and it’s wearable, but doesn’t the jacket end up looking somewhat confused? The tough biker zip-up front doesn’t really match up with the feminine collarless design or with the ruffles, and we’re also not quite sure what a zip-up front is doing with a double-breasted button closure on just one garment.

It’s one thing to take different elements from each style but it’s another to harmoniously combine them all. This jacket would look better with a few minor adjustments (like moving the ruffles to a non-hip-widening area and making sleeves more fitted) but its overall design is something that needs a major overhaul.
